In this play, there are a king, an Earl and several people including Lady Macbeth who use force and violence to rule their kingdom. The title character has his eyes set on the throne and an heir to the throne, so he is determined to win the throne.In Act I, the play begins with Lady Macbeth being arrested by her husband for murder. She is led into the dungeon and speaks to the queen about killing her husband. Macbeth claims that he will not leave the dungeon until she does. Eventually, Macbeth escapes from the dungeon and finds his way back to the palace where he plots his revenge against the king.What makes the play so intriguing is the villain Macbeth. He is a violent individual who believes in absolute power and absolute justice. He wants to assume absolute power in the land and because of this, he uses death as a means to achieve it.In f act, one of the reasons why Macbeth is the hero of the play is because he does not view death as a punishment. Rather, he believes that death is a way to take vengeance on the king. One of the ways he achieves this is through using the death of King Duncan. Duncan was a powerful man who took great care in providing for his people.While he may have been a good king, he too was killed by Lady Macbeth and that brought down upon King Duncan. This is a major tragedy for the kingdom because, if Duncan is dead, then the queen will be the ruler of the realm. Because of this, the king is replaced with Macbeth and the kingdom becomes a lawless place with no rules.This is what makes the play so captivating. It is a story of an individual who is willing to do anything in order to control the world around him and ultimately rule over it.However, Macbeth is defeated when Macduff steps in and takes power. However, because of Macbeth's arrogance, he is doomed to rule in his own name and not by anyo ne else's.These are the most important parts of this argumentative essay.
